Physical foundations of the use of low-dimensional semiconductor structures in quantum information systems

The project is carried out within the framework of the State Task of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, project No. 0721-2020-0048

Project objectives:

  1. Development of physical principles for the application of low-dimensional (zero- and two-dimensional) structures based on SiGe heterostructures, point centers in diamond and two-dimensional fermi liquids in SiGe and diamond for the tasks of quantum communications (over open and closed communication channels) and quantum computing.

  2. Creation of laboratory samples demonstrating the practical applicability of the studied approaches and the discovered effects and phenomena to create a quantum component base.

  3. Development of physical and mathematical models for the development of a theoretical framework describing the observed processes.
