Quantum Center of Tomsk State University

The Center for Quantum Technologies of the Radiophysics Faculty of the Tomsk State University was established in 2018 as part of the National Technology Initiative. The center conducts research in the field of fiber and atmospheric quantum cryptography, cold atom physics, quantum optics, nanophotonics and nonlinear optics, as well as cryoelectronics. During the work of the center, much attention is paid to educational programs for students of various levels.

The center's employees are involved in major projects on the development of quantum cryptography systems adapted to real fiber communication lines, optical quantum communication systems in open space and the development of optical quantum computing systems.
