The final of the III National Intercollegiate Worldskills Championship in 52 competencies was held from November 26 to 29 in Moscow at the VDNH venues. The total number of participating students is more than 400 from 70 educational institutions of higher education. The recruitment of participants began with intra-university championships organized by 82 universities.
In the competence of "Quantum Technologies", the TSU NI team was represented by a graduate student of the RFU Kristina Khomyakova and a student of the FF Tatiana Nevzorova, who took 1st and 2nd places, respectively, in the qualifying championship in April (link to the news about the qualifying). The experts-compatriots were employees of the quantum center Yu.V. Maslova and D.E. Kashirsky. The girls' rivals in the competitions in five modules were students from the Southern Federal State University, MEPhI, SPbSUT, etc. The competitive competitions lasted two days. All participants demonstrated a high level of preparation, concentration and will to win. But the victory was all the more valuable: Kristina Khomyakova won the gold medal of the championship! The second representative of the team, Tatiana Nevzorova, also showed a good overall result.
