From April 26 to 29, TSU hosted the III University Open Championship according to WorldSkills standards. The organization of such an event helps talented students prepare for participation in the intercollegiate championship, will give them the opportunity to get into the WorldSkills national team, will contribute to establishing contacts between TSU and new partner companies.
This year, ten competencies were declared in the program of the university championship. This time the Radiophysics Faculty was represented by three competencies. The competence "Quantum Technologies" was added to the already familiar prototyping and electronics, in the organization of which the team of the REC "Quantum Technologies" took a direct part. In this competence, participants competed in several modules, including: assembly of fiber-optic circuits, setting up the installation of quantum key distribution and quantum computing.

as well as experts-fellow patriots Korotaev A.G., Lipatov E.I., Kohanenko A.P.
It should be noted that T.V. Kazieva, an employee of the Russian Quantum Center (Moscow), was present at the championship as an invited external expert, who highly appreciated the level of the championship and the quality of training of participants.
According to the results of the championship, the first place and the right to represent TSU in this competence at the Intercollegiate Championship in November in Moscow was awarded to Kristina Khomyakova, a first-year graduate student of the Radiophysics Faculty TSU. Also among the winners:
2nd place - Alexander Kireev,
3rd place - Vladimir Vinarsky.
